Privacy Notice Regarding the Protection of Personal Data
The Karaman Business Development Center (“İŞGEM”), acting as the data controller in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), processes your personal data within the scope described below.

2. Personal Data Processed
When you visit our website, use the contact form, or fill out the entrepreneur application form, we process the following personal data: identification information (first name, last name), contact information (email, phone number), information related to the application process (business idea/project summary, professional and educational information, and other data you share), and transaction security data (IP address, browser information, time of visit) may be processed.
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of receiving, evaluating, and finalizing entrepreneur applications; conducting workspace allocation processes; responding to communication requests; carrying out İŞGEM activities and providing support; ensuring information security; and fulfilling legal obligations.
4. Legal Grounds for Processing
Your data is processed based on the legal grounds set forth in Article 5(2) of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), specifically where processing is explicitly provided for by law, is directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (application and allocation processes), the fulfillment of a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests—provided that such processing does not infringe upon your fundamental rights and freedoms; in cases not falling under these categories, your data is processed based on your explicit consent.
5. Transfer
Your personal data is transferred, to the extent required by the application and support processes, to relevant public institutions and organizations (e.g., KOSGEB, provincial directorates), to members of evaluation committees, and to hosting and IT infrastructure providers from whom we receive services, in compliance with the security measures set forth in the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Transfers abroad are made only if the conditions specified in Article 9 of the KVKK are met.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data will be retained for the period necessary to fulfill the purpose of processing and for the statute of limitations periods prescribed by law; at the end of this period, it will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Data related to applications that result in a negative decision will be destroyed following a reasonable evaluation period.
7. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed; if so, to request information about it; to learn the purpose of the processing; to know the third parties to whom it has been transferred; to request the correction of incomplete or incorrect data; to request its erasure or destruction; request that these actions be communicated to the third parties to whom your data was transferred, object to outcomes resulting from analysis conducted exclusively by automated systems that are detrimental to you, and claim compensation in the event you suffer harm.
